Professor LIAO Hua wins 2019 National Outstanding Youth Science Found

  Recently, Professor Liao Hua received the grant according to the announcement of the results of the 2019 National Outstanding Youth Science Foundation's application and evaluation. Professor Liao Hua is engaged in scientific research and talent training in the field of energy economy and climate policy, and has published more than 90 papers. Prior to this, he assumed five projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Among them, in 2013, he received excellent youth science fund project funding. He has been selected by the Ministry of Education in the first batch of young ChangJiang scholars program, has won Mao Yisheng Beijing Youth Science and Technology Award. Professor Liao Hua transferred to Beijing Institute of Technology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2010.

  The National Outstanding Youth Science Fund is a special scientific fund set up by China in order to promote the growth of young scientific and technological talents, encourage overseas scholars to return to China, and accelerate the cultivation of a number of outstanding academic leaders who have entered the forefront of science and technology in the world. Since its establishment in 1994, the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund has accepted applications once a year to support young scholars who have made outstanding achievements in basic research in choosing their own research directions to carry out innovative research and promote the growth of young scientific and technological talents. The winners of the Fund and the research teams led by the winners have become the main backbone of China's impact on the scientific frontier of the world.
